Seminar On The Goods and Services Tax (‘GST’)

The Goods and Services Tax (‘GST’) roll-out in India may get postponed by a few months due to a delay in passing of the Constitution Amendment Bill in the parliament. However, the delay may turn out to be a boon for the industry as well as the nation as a whole – since the industry would have a window of at least six to nine months to prepare for this mammoth transition and the government could utilise this time to frame effective policies, procedures, as well as create the necessary infrastructure.

At this stage, the industry would also have the opportunity to present various issues to the government for a conducive GST environment. International Trade and Investment in Pune India will also be dramatically influenced by the new regime. How, when, who, where needs to be figured out well in advance.

Sensing this need of the industry, the World Trade Center in Pune, along with KPMG as its knowledge partner, invites you to a seminar to discuss how businesses should look at this change, what corporates should do and what some of them are doing to deal with GST challenges.

During the seminar, we will discuss the following points:

• Would GST be a reality? If yes, when?
• Risks of GST - why businesses need to strategise?
• How can GST impact my supply chain?
• How can businesses ensure c        continuity, especially when their ERP systems may undergo a change under GST?

• How should businesses prepare for GST?
• Panel discussion on GST with representatives from different sectors.

We would be delighted if you could join us for this exclusive event seeing participation of decision makers at VP / CXO level from corporate world.
