Maritime Nation India International Exhibition & Conference 2016 The conference is focussed around seven key sectorial themes in the maritime ecosystem - Trade Lanes, Shipping, Ports, CFS/ICDs & SEZs, Road, Rail & Coastal connectivity, Shipbuilding, Investments, Advisory, Technology, Training and Leisure Including Cruise and Lighthouse Tourism. The sector-focussed conferences to be held over the three days will take up emerging issues related to rebuilding India as a Maritime Nation and follow through on the initiatives taken in this space so far. It would provide an integrated platform for exchange of ideas and networking across the sectors and will benefit all its participants, including the regulators by providing insights and actionable suggestions. Eminent speakers, policy makers and business leaders will address the conference, presenting an unique opportunity to network with top executives of the exhibiting companies, diplomats, and the Ministers as well as senior government officials from the Ministries of Commerce, Shipping, Transport among other dignitaries. 

  The Maritime Nation India Exhibition 2016 The exhibition is being held in the International Convention Centre at Navi Mumbai. This would include over 1000 Sq. Mtrs. of specified exhibition Area, with over 200 exhibitors from India and overseas, sourcing delegations from Port Authorities, delegations of Decision Makers for Government purchases, Shipping Lines, Port authorities and Terminal Operators, Inland logistics operators including Indian Railways, and Container Train Operators

International Trade can prosper in Maritime India considering the deep focus and interest of global communities in India as a developing economy and global market. 

Ports, infrastructure, international trade, tourism are the focus areas for India and the event amplifies the aspiration of the Maritime Nation. 

INTERNATIONAL NORTH-SOUTH TRANSPORT CORRIDOR (INSTC) is the focus of the event. 

International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC), is a multi modal transportation established in 12 SEP 2000 in St. Petersburg, by Iran, Russia and India for the purpose of promoting transportation cooperation among the Member States. This corridor connects India Ocean and Persian Gulf to the Caspian Sea via Islamic republic of IRAN,
then is connected to St. Petersburg and North European via Russian Federation.

The INSTC was expanded to include eleven new members, namely: Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Turkey, Republic of Ukraine, Republic of Belarus, Oman, Syria, Bulgaria (as Observer).
