In the midst of a geopolitical and economic storm, a delegation from Pittsburgh and Philadelphia came to present the State's assets and opportunities to a handful of SMEs on the Côte d'Azur likely to want to open a branch there.
Three Americans, a Frenchman representing the Department of Economic Development of the State of Pennsylvania in France, and a dozen figures from the Côte d'Azur business world, led by the Sophia Antipolis Foundation, who, like the CCI International and the UPE06, opened their address book to invite the few business leaders present, mainly from the West of the department, this April 10th to the Nice airport business center.
The program featured a workshop on "Opening a Branch in Pennsylvania," led by Nicolas Bernard-Masson, who represented the state; Brian K. Oglesby, CEO of the World Trade Center Pittsburgh; Josh Fishbein, chief commercial officer of the World Trade Center Greater Philadelphia; and Maria Frizelle Roberts, founder and CEO of MFR Consultants, a tech consulting firm.
The American delegation made a detour to Nice, the day after the 55th Global Business Forum of the World Trade Center Association, held this year in Marseille.
