From March 21–23, the World Trade Center Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) proudly hosted the Diaspora Property Expo, an international gathering focused on fostering real estate and investment opportunities between Ghana and the United States. A key highlight of the event was a joint panel featuring Thomas Young , President & CEO of WTCGP, and Brian K. Oglesby , President & CEO of WTC Pittsburgh.

Together, Thomas and Brian led an engaging discussion on commercial real estate opportunities across Pennsylvania, representing the state’s two major urban markets—Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. While each leader highlighted the strengths of their respective regions, the conversation naturally expanded to explore statewide synergies, including prominent sectors like agriculture, which hold particular promise for U.S.-Ghana trade relations.

This partnership is a strong example of how the WTC network contributes to a larger, statewide effort to build meaningful international connections. As part of a growing coalition preparing to host the WTCA Global Business Forum in Philadelphia in 2026, WTCGP is proud to play a role in positioning Pennsylvania as a welcoming and opportunity-rich destination for global business.
