WTC Noida participates in the 42nd IJBCC

WTC Noida through its trade services arm VERBIND participated in the 42nd Joint Meeting of India-Japan Business Cooperation Committee (IJBCC) on 23 January, 2018 at 2.00 pm, Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi. The event was organized by FICCI in partnership with the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).

The meeting holds special significance as it was the first major high powered business delegation from Japan being led by Dr. Akio Mimura, Chairman, JCCI and other top functionaries of JCCI in order to foster trade and investment relations between both the countries.

The focus of the meeting was to encourage Japanese investments and explore new business opportunities in areas of infrastructure, manufacturing and high technology including advanced transportation systems, energy and renewable energy, amongst others.

The Business Meeting witnessed participation of key policy makers from India and Japan and also by top Japanese and Indian CEO’s. The emphasis of the business meeting was to exchange ideas to further widen and deepen the economic engagement for inhibited growth in bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
