NOIDA, INDIA - With the aim to provide and facilitate the promotion, development and enhancement of the competitiveness of Leather Sector, the officials of WTC Noida & VERBIND- its Trade Services Arm; and Council for Leather Exports (CLE) met Mr. Sanjay Kumar-Regional Director (North) and deliberated over host of issues focusing on the upliftment of Leather Exporters in India.

WTC Noida and VERBIND- Its Trade Services arm, will work in tandem with CLE; by extending all possible support and trade services to its members and Leather Exporters. Both the parties will also collaborate in upcoming events/ symposiums; to explain the potential and services of World Trade Center in enhancing and scaling up business and investment promotion as well facilitating Leather exporters in expanding their business outside India. Furthermore, CLE will also explore the potentialities of making a Leather Cluster in WTC Noida Exporter Zone; one of the many initiatives of WTC Noida for boosting Indian Exporters both domestically & internationally.

Pertaining such cooperation and potential synergies; a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations was also discussed upon; outlining and modalities of which will be charted out at the earliest. WTC Noida &VERBIND will act as a vital platform for the Leather Exporters to reach out to the markets and investors around the world thereby placing them on the global map of trade and industry.
