NANTES, FRANCE - From March 25th to March 30th, the World Trade Center Nantes Atlantique organized a learning expedition in New York City in order to encourage French local SMEs to investigate the American market and identify opportunities linked to their fields of excellence. Many sectors of activities were represented such as organic farming, electronics, and biotechnologies.

Led by Benoit Van Ossel, President of World Trade Center Nantes Atlantique and CEO of Côteaux Nantais, the mission gave way to many possibilities of meetings with financial experts and lawyers. They also exchanged with French companies already settled in the US which shared their experience on particular issues such as rules of management and business practices.

This mission was successful with a contract signed with an American distributor and 2 other companies decided to stay another week to meet business partners.
