WTC Mumbai Organises Entrepreneurship Event

World Trade Centre Mumbai organised an Entrepreneurship Development Programme, which was an orientation initiative for individuals looking to be entrepreneurs of the future and how to further develop entrepreneurial skills. The programme was held on May 30, 2018 at the World Trade Centre Mumbai.

The speakers of the Programme were Mr. Bharat Jethani, Director, ASENTIV Central India and Mr. Hariharan Iyer, certified trainer from ASENTIV, USA who spoke of the need for such training programmes and provided an overview of entrepreneurship.

While introducing the topic, Mr. Jethani said that Entrepreneurship is the activity of setting up a business in an area of passion. In so doing, planning and effective networking are the major aspects in the formation of a business. There is no success without failures, Mr. Jethani added.

Mr. Iyer spoke of the importance of being an Entrepreneur. While referring to each alphabet of the word ‘Entrepreneur’, Mr. Hariharan explained the important aspects of nurturing, learning, result-orientation and people-orientation. He stressed on building leadership by being receptive, engaged, and evolved. Eventually an Entrepreneur has to learn to be resilient in the face of all challenges.

Ms. Rupa Naik, Senior Director, MVIRDC World Trade Centre Mumbai said that grit and determination were the two most important traits of being an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is all about nurturing and polishing entrepreneurial skills to establish and successfully run ones enterprises.
