MOSCOW, RUSSIA - On March 31st the 28th award ceremony of the Nika National film Award took place in Moscow. This year the World Trade Center Moscow became the partner of the event.
Sergei Davydov, First Deputy Director General of the WTC Moscow, took part in the award ceremony for the prize winners. He announced the winner in the category “Best film of the CIS-countries and Baltic States”. It was the movie “The Tribe” by young Ukrainian director Miroslav Slaboshpitsky.
“The World Trade Center Moscow has always paid special attention to the development of international cooperation. This year, the WTC is a partner of "NIKA", and I am pleased to present you the award in this particular category," – said Sergei Davydov, passing the “NIKA” statuette to the winner.
Earlier, WTC Moscow held a press conference of the National film award, where the winners of special awards and nominees for 2014 were officially announced. The second round of voting also took place in the WTC Moscow.
