MANILA, PHILIPPINES - A first from the Club is a networking forum and cocktails held on July 19, 2016 at the Lobby of the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The event dubbed, “Up Close and Personal”, featured Department of Transportation Secretary, Arthur P. Tugade, and had about 250 attendees from sectors relevant to the transportation industry, such as airline, freight forwarding, shipping, automotive, and the public transport industries.

The Club conducts forums featuring eminent personalities that influence Philippine business and economy up close and personal. These forums present timely and relevant topics that affect foreign and local businesses, as well as talks by government officials on programs significant to doing business. The profile of these forums’ audience includes top executives of corporations, officers of government agencies, representatives from small- and medium-enterprises, and entrepreneurs of import and export trade organizations.
