On August 31, Mr. Wang Xun, Executive Vice-President of World Trade Center Association (WTCA), and Ms. Wang Guangmei, President of Dandong World Trade Center (WTC), Mr. Wu Xueping, Secretary-General of Chongqing WTC, and Mr. Zeng Kaifang, Assistance of President of Quanzhou WTC, went to Kunming and attended the Top 500 Enterprises of China Release Conference & Corporations Summit. The leaders of WTCs of different cities exchanged their successful experience on WTC development and operation in a series of exchanges, and also gave much relevant advice for development of Kunming WTC.
In the afternoon on August 31, Ruan Fengbin, the Deputy Mayor of Kunming, and relevant leaders of municipal and district governments had a meeting with Mr. Wang Xun and representatives of other WTCs. In this meeting, leaders of municipal government had a better understanding on WTC. The Deputy Mayor affirmed the brand advantage and development prospects of Kunming WTC. Meanwhile, to project the orientation and operation plan of Kunming WTC, leaders of municipal government and functional departments at district level gave instructive suggestions based on actual situation of the project.
Currently, the project promotion is generally smooth. The orientation of key trade and commercial area of district government for the project will provide a good trade and commercial environment for Kunming WTC. In the future, the functional departments of governments and the WTC will enhance communication on policies, commercial resources and service platform, to turn the project into an excellent platform for foreign trade.
