During the China-South Asia Expo (June 12-17, 2016) in Dianchi Expo Centre, Xiang Yuming, Business Manager of WTC Kunming, was invited to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Taiwan Pavillion by Taiwan Trade Centre.
The 2nd China-South Asia Expo is one of the major platforms for facilitating trade between countries in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Mid-Asia and South Asia. A total of 46 countries were present at the CSA Expo of this year. This year's Taiwan Pavillion has been a must-visit location for buyers and visitors. The goods exhibited mainly consisted of food items, creative items and household decorations. Among which, the specialty spicy sauce of Yi Lai Shun, the instant healthy congee of Jing Gong Yu Ye and the nougats of San Shu Gong were exhibited for the first time in the Taiwan Pavillion and instantly became the favourite of many buyers. Several local traders from Yunnan Province have made big orders on site. A total of 1,762 buyers participated in negotiations with Taiwan exhibitors and the latter achieved on-site transactions in the total amount of 3.7 million USD in the total duration of 5 days.
