KUALA LUMPUR, FEBRUARY 9, 2022: World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) has been granted with the “Safe Business Events (SafeBE)” Hygiene & Safety Label by Bureau Veritas (M) Sdn Bhd on the 7th of February 2022.

Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) launched its Safe Business Events (SafeBE) Certification Programme to instil public confidence and support national economic recovery in business events. This certification will only be awarded to exhibition and convention centres that meet the rigorous SOPs specified by the National Security Council (Majlis Keselamatan Negara — MKN) and recommendations by Malaysia’s health agencies, and is independently audited by Bureau Veritas (M) Sdn Bhd.

This programme implements an international framework that ensures venue facilities are safe, clean, and certified at the highest standards of health and safety measures. In addition, this further maintains a safe and secure environment for all organisers and attendees.
