The World Trade Center (WTC) Kochi organized a seminar on Transfer Pricing on 14th August 2018 at Holiday Inn. The event was supported by TiE Kerala & PWC. The objective was to update the businesses with the new Transfer Pricing directives. Mr Amith Prabhu, Director - PWC & Mr Saumyadipta Sinha, Executive Director - PWC were the speakers.
Mr Amith Prabhu provided an overview of Transfer Pricing regulation and explained how it is happening globally. Mr Prabhu also spoke about the Country by Country Reporting (CbCR) and stressed the fact that this has brought in some transparency to the entire process.
Mr Saumyadipta Sinha spoke about the aspects pertaining to disputes in Transfer Pricing. Mr. Sinha mentioned that India has unveiled a new set of rules that aim to further provide certainty to multinationals and reducing transfer pricing disputes and litigation.
