The World Trade Center Kochi jointly with FIEO Kerala Chapter organized a seminar titled “IT & IT enabled Service Exports from Kerala – Opportunities and Challenges” on 23rd September 2019 at Four Points by Sheraton, Infopark. This session discussed the various opportunities, export incentives, foreign exchange risk management, infrastructural issues etc. related to IT and ITeS sectors. This interactive session was attended by participants from sectors such as IT & ITeS, media, consultants, manufacturing, finance, education etc.

Mr. D.V. Swamy IAS, Development Commissioner, CSEZ was the Chief Guest. During his inaugural address, Mr.Swamy said that more handholding support needs to be given to performing companies. Mr. Saju K. Surendran, Dy. Development Commissioner, CSEZ, Mr. K.M. Harilal ITS, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Mr. K. Sreekumar Assistant Manager – Forex Division, Reserve Bank of India, Mr.Sreenath P. Lead- Talent Engagement, TCS, Dr. Bose K. Nair, Vice President, World Trade Center Kochi, Mr. Unnikrishnan K., Deputy Director General, FIEO and C. Prasanth, Vice President, IDFC Bank were the other speakers.
