The World Trade Center Kochi in association with FICCI conducted a Seminar on “General Data Protection Regulation” on 24th May, 2018 at Holiday Inn, Cochin. Mr. Praveen Sasidharan, Partner & Mr. Sukiraman Manivannan, Deputy Manager – Risk Advisory Team, Deloitte India spoke on the subject. GDPR is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union that came into effect on 25th May, 2018. The objective of the session was to create more awareness among companies in Kerala as to what GDPR’s impact would be on their businesses.
