The World Trade Center Kochi partnered with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) to organize a half-day Seminar on 10 July 2018 at Hotel Avenue Regent, MG Road, Kochi. The objective of the programme was to keep the EXIM community informed about the basics of FTAs and how to take advantage of the ones already signed by India. Mr. Pulela Nageshwara Rao, Chief Commissioner, Central Excise and Customs inaugurated the Seminar. Mr. Sudhakar Kasture, International Trade Consultant Mumbai was the lead speaker who spoke about FTAs. Other speakers included Mr. Santhosh David, Vice President, Marine Underwriting, Bharati Axa General Insurance who spoke about Marine Insurance and Mr. Vivek, Chief Manager, SBI Kalamassery touched upon Letter of Credit. Mr. Vivek George, Deputy Manager, WTC Kochi made the concluding remarks. The event was attended by delegates from various Exim Companies in and around Kochi.
