The World Trade Center Kochi in association with The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI) and KPMG India organised a full day Seminar as titled ‘Interactive Session on GST-Transition and the way forward’ in Ernakulam on 9th June 2017. The Seminar was held at Taj Gateway Hotel, Marine Drive, Ernakulam.

Mr.Pullela Nagaswara Rao IRS, Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax, Kerala inaugurated the Seminar.

 GST is the new tax reform which has been implemented from 1st July 2017 in India. It offers uniform rates across the Country which is expected to reduce tax burden on businesses, simplify processes and eventually cut down on the compliance costs which will bring in more transparency.

 The session was an opportunity for the Participants to clarify with the Speakers their queries on the subject and how GST could impact on the various sectors of Kerala.
