WTC Kochi partnered with Ernst & Young LLP & TiE Kerala to organise an Interactive session on Union Budget 2018-2019.The programme was held on 22nd Feb 2018 at Taj Gateway Hotel, Kochi.

The seminar on discussed on the macro level proposals in Direct and Indirect taxes that were outlaid in the recently presented Union Budget 2018-19.However the focus of the talks were around areas like EWay Bill, Anti-profiteering measures, Insolvency etc. Matters pertaining to GST also came up for discussion. Mr.Prasanth Acharya, Director,EY LLP, Bangalore spoke on the indirect tax proposals in the Union Budget. Mr.Mithun D’souza, Director, EY LLP, Bangalore touched upon the direct tax proposals of the budget.
