With the purpose of energizing and reducing the procedures for carrying out Foreign Trade activities, the One-Stop Shop was presented. This project, in three-phases. will simplify the management of entrepreneurs for the export and import of goods.

During FIHAV 2019, the new Investment Opportunities Portfolio was presented, containing 460 projects, 47 of them in the ZEDM and an estimated investment amount of 11,745 million dollars, in which the productive chain is promoted. New businesses linked to the food, light, mechanical and chemical industries, as well as tourism and mining industries were also incorporated.

The countries most represented were Germany, Russia and Spain. 115 bilateral meetings were organized. The sectors of greatest interest were food, construction, tourism and health.

Despite the complex international context, the presence of more than 60 countries in FIHAV 2019, is a sign of the confidence and solidarity of international entrepreneurs in the Cuban market, which we celebrate together with the overwhelming victory of Cuba at the United Nations, where 187 countries granted their vote in favor of Cuba to reject the illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States of America.
