WTC Dublin signs MOU with Lithuanian Chamber

Jun 18, 2019

World Trade Center Dublin is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, on Thursday, 30 May 2019.

The Lithuanian community is the third largest group in Ireland, with over 37,000 Lithuanians living in the Emerald Isle. This significant number of Lithuanian citizens residing in Ireland gives a distinctive aspect to our bilateral relationship, and it prompted WTC Dublin and the Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce to sign a MOU to cement our relations into the future.

This agreement allows the entities to collaborate on joint trade missions, generate leads for businesses in both regions, and support each other’s international marketing efforts.

Additionally under this cooperation agreement, WTC Dublin will provide the Chamber with access to our digital environment WebPort Global; the goal of this community will be to advance the continued success of its mandate to strengthen the Lithuanian economy while supporting company growth through international trade.

Maureen Pace, President of WTC Dublin, signed the agreement with Antanas Gedvilas, CEO of Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, in the beautiful setting of the Embassy of Lithuania in Ireland. We thank Ambassador Egidijus Meilūnas and Lithuanian Embassy for their continued support.

We look forward to new opportunities for economic cooperation between Ireland and Lithuania.
