WTC Dublin Hosts ‘Entrepreneurs in Ireland' Event

Aug 21, 2019

On the 20th of August, WTC Dublin paired up with Hubspot in Dublin to host Ireland’s largest annual event for entrepreneurs, ‘Entrepreneurs in Ireland 2019.’ Hundreds of eager young business people across all sectors attended this event, eager to hear motivational advice from successful entrepreneurs in Ireland and network with other attendees.

Speakers at the event included WTC Dublin’s very own Adam Fulham, who spoke candidly about the favourable business environment Ireland has to offer. Ireland actually boasts one of the highest proportions of business owners in Europe, on par with that of the United States. In fact, there were 35,000 new business owners registered in Ireland in 2016 alone. Adam was also able to attest to the services WTC Dublin provides which help new businesses grow and thrive in the global market.

Other speakers at the event included Caragh Kennedy of Hubspot, who spoke about the logistical aspects of growing a business, including things such as how to register a new business, how to use a CRM, etc. The event also featured Gislene Oliveira of LatinAmerica.ie, who delivered a speech about her personal journey as an entrepreneur.

Additionally, the event included a panel discussion and questionnaire where the previously mentioned speakers were joined by Kareem Mostafa of tribetactics, who was able to speak to the benefits and challenges of moving to Ireland to do business.

WTC Dublin would like to thank Hubspot for partnering with us to make this event possible, as well as thank the knowledgeable speakers who were willing to share their insight with the crowd. Finally, thank you to all the engaged and enthusiastic attendees who helped make this event a success.
