World Trade Center Chennai in association with Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES) conducted an interactive session that brought together SEZ officials, subject experts and representatives from SEZ units to discuss on the latest WFH guidelines and SEZ matters.

Mr. Prabhu Kumar K, Deputy Development Commissioner, Madras Export Processing Zone was the Chief Guest.

Other guests included – Mr. C. Manoharan, Regional Vice Chairman, EPCES – MEPZ; Mr. R. Sriram, Assistant Development Commissioner, Madras Export Processing Zone; Mr. T.V. Suresh, Specified Officer, Madras Export Processing Zone and Ms. S. Kalyani, Regional Director, EPCES – MEPZ.

Mr. Pratik Shah, Associate Partner, Indirect Tax, BDO India gave a detailed presentation on Article 43 A of the SEZ rules, updates and the current challenges faced.

The event witnessed active participation from CEOs, Directors, HR Professionals and Compliance team members of SEZ units, Developers and Co-developers falling under MEPZ Zone. Mr. Hrishikesh Nair-President, WTC received the guests and moderated the discussions.
