World Trade Center Chennai organized an online workshop “Social media marketing: How to get it right”. Mr. Puneet Singh Bhatia, digital marketing expert and renowned author was the faculty. Mr. Puneet Bhatia gave a timeline of social media platforms, he listed reasons for the downfall of some of them. He said that the current trend on interactivity is moving from digital to traditional with the advent of IoT interactions, interactive TV and other assisted devices. He shared the 7 building blocks of social media. He shared the statistics of the current social media usage trend, globally and India specific. He detailed the process of social media engagement cycle and gave examples of successful social media campaigns. He gave the USPs, audience profile, features, objective, status and trends of major social media platforms. He discussed the customer journey and social media funnel model.
