WTC Chandigarh facilitated by its trade services arm VERBIND participated in the Punjab start up summit that was held in Chandigarh on 31st August 2018. The event was attended by Government Authorities, Academia, Industry and startups from across the state. The event deliberated on the changing prospects of startups due to change in government policy and the support of the industry, venture capitalists, and financial institutes for accelerating startups in the state. World Trade Chandigarh participated in the event through special invitation by Punjab Chamber of Commerce. WTC Chandigarh is a strong proponent of holistic startup ecosystem not only in the state of Punjab but in the entire country. VERBIND the services arm of WTC Chandigarh is actively working with organizations of repute to support the startups by creating linkages at various levels and bringing all stakeholders under one roof. WTC Chandigarh will partner Punjab Chamber of Commerce to work actively in promoting startups in the state by providing all the requisite services and support to foster the growth of startups. WTC Chandigarh plans to offer office spaces to startups from the state at very nominal rates thereby providing state of the art infrastructure at affordable rates.
