WORLD TRADE CENTER BINH DUONG NEW CITY IN COOPERATION WITH KOREA CREATIVE CONTENT AGENCY TO PROMOTE THE FIELD OF CONTENTS DEVELOPMENT IN BINH DUONG PROVINCE.

With the approval of People's Committee of Binh Duong Province, Binh Duong Department of Foreign Affairs, Binh Duong Department Of Culture, Sports And Tourism, Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade, on February of 25 th 2022, at the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center, World Trade Center Binh Duong New City and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) organized the opening ceremony of the first Korean Culture and Content Festival in Binh Duong, and signed the Agreement on strategic cooperation in content development industry in Binh Duong province.

The K-Culture and Content Festival 2022 is the first time to be taken place in Binh Duong, with many interesting contents to attract the young people in Binh Duong who love Korean culture and co-create content between Korea and Vietnam. The festival will include a Korean culture exhibition from February 25 th to 27 th , 2022, and a KPOP performance with Vietnamese and Korean artists and singers on the evening of February 27 th , 2022. The festival is supported by Binh Duong Youth Union, Eastern International University, Vietnam Germany University, Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong University, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, and other parties developed by BECAMEX Tokyu Group, so as to promote this festival as well as career development opportunities in the content development industry with full of appeal to young people in Binh Duong.

This festival represents the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Korea, as well as the first implementation after the signing ceremony of the Agreement on strategic cooperation between Binh Duong - Vietnam and Gangnam district - Seoul – Korea, and to promote international trade & cultural exchange. In particular, this festival is one of the attractive activities in the development strategy of "Binh Duong Innovation Zone" with the desire to work with Korean partners to develop an engaging content industry for young people in Binh Duong. The festival also performs an effort to promote a balanced economy and develop local creative young human resources.

In this program, the MOU signing ceremony between the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and WTC Binh Duong New City aims to promote the contents of exhibitions, cultural exchange events, KPOP performances, and other event activities, as well as setting up plans to jointly organize annual events to promote the content development industry in Binh Duong province in particular and Vietnam in general, and promoting exchange activities between Vietnam and Korea in the field of cultural exchange and developing new cooperation.

On the night of February 27 th , when closing 3 days of culture and contents experience, “Korea – Vietnam OST Concert” will be held to revive K-Wave fever again. This concert is led by NICKY, an idol singer & MC, and many famous Korean (Online) and Vietnamese singers will appear singing Korea’s famous drama and cinema OSTs in Korean and Vietnamese: JUSTB, Super V, Huong Duyen, Trung Quan Idol, Van Mai Huong. Also, Ho Chi Minh Taekwondo Demonstration Team will perform K-POP featuring Taekwondo demonstration as an opener to bring more excitement to the audience.  

Moreover, this is also the opening milestone for WTC Binh Duong New City to promote MICE activities in Binh Duong province after the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, activities will be held at locations that WTC Binh Duong New City manages such as Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center as well as WTC EXPO, an international exhibition center with a scale of 22,000 m2. After the mission of serving the community as the No. 1 Field Hospital during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, WTX EXPO will again be a venue to attract exhibitions, conferences, and domestic & international seminars & webinars from April 2022.
