World Trade Center Bhubaneswar Women Forum organized a session on balance your balance sheet here in Bhubaneswar. The session aimed at increasing the financial literacy in the women in the field of business. The session was facilitated by a renowned Chartered Accountant CA Summon Patra. 

“Women have never felt more empowered than we do. Today they are running for office in record numbers. More women are pursuing entrepreneurship. While the past several years have put a spotlight on female empowerment, women are struggling to make progress with financial literacy” said Ms. Patra in her address

Further in her deliberations Ms. Patra spoke about why it highly essential for women to understand the basics of finance. She further explained in detail the about the nuances of studying a balance sheet and being able to analyse the financial strengths and weakness. 

She further spoke about the changes in the new income tax regime, filing of GST, credit analysis, wise investments and management of liquid funds etc. A question answer session with the participants made the session more lively and interactive. 

Earlier Mrs. Chaitali Mishra, Director, SATHI Group while welcoming all the participants to the session took the opportunity to introduce CA Summon Patra. She also highlighted the various initiatives taken by the forum in order to handhold the women entrepreneurs of the State. 

Ms. Sanghamitra Jena, Honorary Convenor, WTC Bhubaneswar Women Forum and Founder, Eastern Treasure India Tours Pvt Ltd. proposed the vote of thanks.
