WTC Bengaluru in WTCA 2021 Sustainability Report

Feb 24, 2022

World Trade Center Bengaluru got featured in the first edition of the quadrennial World Trade Centers Association Sustainability report – for the years 2017-2020 – of which our World Trade Center business is a member. The report includes success stories from WTCs around the world on how they promote sustainability and work toward achieving the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We believe sustainability practices to be our key business driver. As the team continues to initiate such practices, during the pandemic, we have also encouraged our tenant companies and members as well as their vendors to do their part.

This report was created as part of the WTCA’s commitment to support the SDGs — as the WTCA is an active Participant of the United Nations Global Compact, as well as a Social Actor with Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) — and presents a synopsis of the great work World Trade Center businesses do in contribution to a more sustainable future. Many stories presented here are related to supporting our communities in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, a matter close to all of us.
