BANGALORE, INDIA - As a part of the run-up to the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2015, a high level delegation led by Shri. Saurabhbhai Patel, Honorable Finance Minister, Gujarat was in Bengaluru on 17th October 2014, to interact with the industry and invite participation for the summit. The seventh edition of the Vibrant Gujarat show is slated to be held in Gandhinagar during January 11-13, 2015. The similar roadshows are being held in 12 cities and 10 countries.
WTC Bangalore was a supporter for the event. The Chairman of WTC Bangalore, Mr. M R Jaishankar also had a meeting with Shri. Saurabhbhai Patel, Honorable Finance Minister, Gujarat along with other key Government officials.
Brigade Enterprises Ltd, the promoter of WTC Bangalore, announced that it will invest Rs 500 crore over the next few years to develop housing, commercial and hotel projects in the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City).
"We are happy that Brigade Enterprises for the first time participated in Gujarat, and has taken up large development in GIFT City, Gujarat to provide facilities like offices, residential, retail mall & hotels with an estimated investment of around Rs 500 Crore," said Saurabhbhai Patel, Minister (Finance & EPD), Gujarat Government. Mr. Patel also interacted with over 300 executives from private and public sector companies in a day-long meeting and highlighted the advantages of investing in the Western State.
Brigade Group CMD M R Jaishankar CMD said: "We are pleased to be co-developers in GIFT City which we consider as a real SMART City in the country”.
