New WTC open in Ballerup Capital Region of Denmark

BALLERUP, DENMARK - On the 12th of September World Trade Center Ballerup opened the doors to their new Business Centre with a grand opening reception with med eminent speakers and entertainment and over 200 guests from Denmark and abroad. Estelle Leclercq, Regional Development Manager in World Trade Centers Association, Europe, represented WTCA.

With the opening of World Trade Center Ballerup Denmark finally, after a run-up of several years, get its’ first physical World Trade Center. Director at World Trade Center Ballerup, Lars Gøtke is very pleased about the opening. ”I am very proud of the house and I am looking forward to welcome new tenants and guests. I am convinced that the World Trade Center concept can create increased trade between Denmark and other countries and look forward to working together with the other World Trade Centers.” 

In the heartlands of the Danish business sector

The new World Trade Center is situated in the Capital Region of Denmark – in one of the biggest business areas in Denmark, where especially IT, banking and insurance businesses and the biotec- and medico industry are strongly represented. Located right outside Copenhagen, only 30 km from Copenhagen Airport, and with a wide range of the biggest international businesses within a radius of very few km there is no doubt World Trade Center Ballerup will attract big and small businesses. Right here they will all get a comfortable, professional and well-equipped platform centrally placed in one of the heartlands of the Danish business sector.

Newly renovated 17.000 square metres

WTC Ballerup has a capacity of about 17.000 square metres all newly renovated. This includes a large meeting and conference centre, Office Centre where offices have service included, and several major and minor tenancies. Furthermore, there is a big, common restaurant, a fitness centre and staffed reception. 

And it seems as if it will not be long before the centre will be buzzing with life. ”There is a great interest and we have already welcomed the first tenants. I expect this house to be buzzing with activities from tenants and guests soon,” Lars Gøtke says. “World Trade Center Ballerup expects to attract many international clients, because they for instance can use the outstanding facilities of the house in connection with meetings, conferences and bigger sales fairs.”

The house has conference facilities for 150 guests, a great lobby/fair area and a restaurant, which can deliver anything from sandwiches to banquets. Right outside are 200 free parking spaces.

World Trade Center Ballerup will host several on going arrangements, event and activities.
