This year´s regional meeting was held in WTC Asunción, November 14-16th. The 3-day meeting started with the WTC DAY, where the Mayor of Asunción, the Minister of Treasury, the CEO of the WTCA, Scott Ferguson, and the Chairman of WTC Asunción, Victor González Acosta gave welcoming speeches to all attendees from WTC delegations and more than 30 Paraguayan companies present during this event.

The Second day started with a presentation of Paraguays economy and investment opportunities to the 41 attendees of 24 delegations of Latin America, USA and China. The day went on with the new real state developments of the region unveil, a workshop of the WTCA Digital Platform, Investment funds for real state developments, also WTC Harbin presented agricultural business development opportunities for Latin América. All presentations will be available on the WTCA digital platform.

On November 16th, delegations went to visit World Trade Center Ciudad del Este construction site. The 30.000 m2. construction site, includes two towers and a hotel along with 3.000 m2. of the biggest BMW showroom of the region and a parking building. Aside from this, delegations also had a private visit to ITAIPU, the worlds second biggest hydroelectric plant and the Iguazú falls, one of the 7 wonders of the nature of the world.
