WTCAR, WTC Dublin Join Forces For Fireside Chat

Apr 06, 2021

ROGERS — Denise Thomas, director of Africa and Middle East trade at World Trade Center Arkansas, joined forces last month with World Trade Center Dublin for an empowering fireside chat with female leaders at World Trade Center Association locations from around the world.

The one-hour chat covered a range of topics, including business mobility perspectives, cultural nuances and similarities, challenges and rewards, and personal experiences.

Part of the session’s overarching goal was to show how these executives equip and guide their organizations during turbulent times.

“There are so many people in this world that we can each gain inspiration from and I gain a lot of my inspiration from a lot of the people on this panel,” said WTC Dublin president Maureen Pace, who served as co-host.

“I’m Lucky to be part of this association and have such fearless, brilliant women to work with.”

The dynamic female leaders on the March 23 panel included:

Carla Stone, President, WTC Delaware
Jessie Jenkins, Director of Research & Trade Development, WTC Savannah
Cristina Sbaizero, CEO, WTC Trieste
Mariette Mulaire, President and CEO, WTC Winnipeg

Thomas said the panel has been strategically managing the most considerable shift in work-life balance in the world’s history due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“They are entrepreneurs. They are advocates. And they are an inspiration,” Thomas said.
