WTCAR Attends Paris Air Show with Governor, AEDC

ROGERS, AR, USA - The World Trade Center Arkansas Senior Director of Global Trade Strategy, Boon Tan attended the 2017 International Paris Airshow which takes place from Monday, June 19 to Sunday, June 25.

Tan will travel to Europe with Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson and Mike Preston, Executive Director of The Arkansas Economic Development Commission as a member of the governor’s delegation to recruit international businesses to bring more jobs to Arkansas. Arkansas’ strength in the aerospace sector will be the focal point of their mission while in Paris.

The Paris Air Show was established in 1909 and is held every other year. It mirrors the Farnborough International Air Show and is one the largest commercial airshows in the world, featuring civilian and military aerospace products and services. Deals and contracts between buyers and purchasers are often announced during the show.

Governor Hutchinson will also travel to German and Israel as a part of this mission.

The mission of the World Trade Center Arkansas is to grow trade and increase Arkansas exports by connecting Arkansas businesses to the world through international trade services.
