Korea is one of Alaska's most important trading partners and is currently ranked #3 among all overseas markets. In 2017 Alaskan exports to Korea totaled $670 million. Korea has many economic interests with Alaska including the State's vast reserves of natural gas. At present, Korea is the second largest importer of LNG in the world, only behind Japan and ahead of China. Both Korean Air and Asiana Airlines are important customers of the Ted Stevens International Airport, primarily with cargo flight activities. This event is the only one in Alaska that focuses on the long-standing and substantial commercial relationship between Alaska and Korea. Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity.
