International Woman's Day” celebrated in Algeria at the Eve Exhibition

ALGIERS, ALGERIA -- March 4 through 9, 2013, WTC Algiers held a week long event at the Algerian Exhibition Palace to celebrate "International Woman's Day." With over 120 exhibitors focusing on lifestyle products and services aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at the female consumer, the exhibition was attended by well over 250,000 visitors, female and male, of all ages and walks of life.

The exhibition was opened by the government minister responsible for family matters, who happens to be a woman, and was attended by many other dignitaries, including WTC Algiers General Manager, Ahmed Tibaoui.

On Thursday night, WTC Algiers hosted a gala dinner attended by 250 guests, including Reem Abu Nahl and Mufid Sukkar, chairperson and board member of World Trade Centers Holdings (Cyprus) Ltd., respectively. As well as gourmet food, the evening was made more entertaining with a fashion show celebrating Algerian culture, popular singers, dancers and a re-creation of a wedding celebration.
The Eve Exhibition has now become a firm annual event in Algeria's business and social calendar, sought by ever increasing exhibitors and attended by hundreds of thousands of Algerians from all walks of life.
