WTC Navi Mumbai organized its International Business Conference on the theme "International Business Scenario from Indian Perspective” on March 20, 2025 at its WTC office.
The Conference began with Mr. Jayant Ghate, Advisor WTC Navi Mumbai welcoming the participants and giving insights about WTCA and WTC Navi Mumbai. He also made few observations on the theme. He made a special emphasis on the event focusing on the untouched aspects of International Business Scenarios. The Conference featured several distinguished speakers who are experts and practitioners in the sphere of International Business and made a detailed presentation, giving the participants their valuable insights.
Mr. Bhushan Yengade of Binder Technology focused on the role of food technology and its significance in the international business sphere especially food processing opportunities for India.
Mr. Deepak Sharma of Yes bank talked about key financial aspects of foreign exchange management which is important for successful international business operations. He explained the details of loans/ schemes extended to MSME sector and for export credit purpose.
Dr. Prashant Sharma of the World Bank and Founder of Dharma Alliance  delivered the keynote address about the global business environment as well as shed light upon de-dollarization. In his presentation he made a special emphasis on adopting Dharmic (religious) principles in business practices.
The event also highlighted about the strong start-up ecosystem in India. Mr. Jayesh Khade of JK Start-ups Support Center spoke about various schemes and opportunities available for entrepreneurs in India. Mr. Jitendra Sakpal of Rise Capital in his presentation highlighted major trends emerging in the start-up sector. He also shed light upon the diverse financing options available.
This was followed by a Q & A session and lively discussion. To sum up, the meeting was quite insightful and left room for further discussions.
