Career Opportunities in Global Trade Post Covid 19

WTC Navi Mumbai cooperated with Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies (RGCMS) Navi Mumbai in successfully organizing a Webinar on June 2, 2020. Theme of the Webinar was “Professional Career Opportunities in Global Trade and MNCs Post Covid”. Attended by about 150 MBA students and Industry Executives, the Webinar evoked overwhelming response.
WTC assisted RGCMS in designing the Panel Discussion, Theme Contents as well as made available the WTC Faculty Members / Experts to participate and address. The Webinar discussion points included: Covid 19 Global Impact, Impact on India, Role of International Organizations like WTO, Government Measures for MSMEs, Sectors/Industries and Career Opportunities.
Panel Experts included Dr Vivek Arunachalam from Germany, Mr. Jayant Ghate from WTC Navi Mumbai, Mr.Harshwadan Parikh of Hardchem Group and Prof. Sunil Jadhav of RGCMS.
Dr Vivek highlighted various dimensions of the Theme. He touched upon global economic impact, role of governments, changing markets, MNCs Functioning, Employment Opportunities and New Normals emerging. He also mentioned about new Sectors where opportunities would emerge.
Mr. Ghate traced the characteristics of Covid, Impact on Indian economy, Exports/Imports, Career Opportunities in foreign trade and so on. He also took a case study of India’s Agro-exports and explained the opportunities emerging therein.
Mr. Harshwadan Parikh explained the Practical aspects of MSMEs, New ways of industry operations, Innovative solutions and Role of Entrepreneurship. He also took up a case study of Electrical and Electronics Industries and identified trends and opportunities.
Prof. Sunil Jadhav explained the Role of Modern Technologies like IT, changes taking place in delivery of Education Service, new opportunities for learning by MBA students.
Panel Discussion was followed by a lively Questions & Answers session. Prof. Radhika of RGCMS ably compered the Webinar and Prof. Vishal Chavan of RGCMS coordinated the program efficiently.
