MISSOULA, MT, USA – WTC Montana coordinated a Regulated Export Training March 2 in Bozeman, Montana in conjunction with the Montana Department of Commerce, U.S. Small Business Administration, Michael Best, and U.S. Bank. MWTC Tech Export Team member Justin Cook presented the basics of export control policies, regulations, and compliance programs to more than 20 attendees and also offered one-on-one meetings in the afternoon.

MWTC also hosted its second TechEx live case study showcasing Montana photonics company Ascent Vision later that evening. Attendees learned from their peers as Ascent Vision shared its experiences selling internationally, and the MWTC Tech Export Team weighed in on best practices. MWTC is offering its third TechEx live case study July 13 in conjunction with Innovate Montana Symposium 2017.

MWTC is also coordinating a trade mission to Israel in May. The trade mission will prescreen and identify potential business partners, provide custom market information, arrange one-on-one meetings with possible distributors/partners, and highlight opportunities for collaborative research and development between Montana and Israeli firms.
