BEIJING, CHINA - In a memorable ceremony on May 23, Shell China declared that its new headquarters open at China World Tower B, one of the shiniest landmarks in Beijing. Tower B is a LEED GOLD certified, high-rise office building within walking distance of two main subway lines with state-of-the-art office space that includes PM2.5 air filtration system.

The opening of the new consolidated Shell offices in this newest building at the heart of the Central Business Distract “represents our commitment and confidence for our future in China,” said Zhang Xinsheng, Executive Chairman of Shell companies in China. Shell has 123 years of proud investments in China, Zhang said. “It’s been a long way from a small hut in the Summer Palace—where Shell’s first representative office at the dawn of China’s reform and opening-up-to the most desired business center in Beijing for our China headquarters.” Zhang said.
