WTCA LATAM REGIONAL MEETING & LOGISTICS SEMINAR

The WTCA and World Trade Center Guadalajara are inviting all WTCA members to attend the hybrid in-person and online Logistics Seminar and WTCA Regional Meeting Latin America 2022 that will be held in Guadalajara - Mexico from September 22 to September 23 at the NH Hotel Providencia.

After almost three years, World Trade Centers from Latin America are convening to discuss in person an interesting agenda which includes a day and a half world class seminar on the challenges and opportunities facing logistics operations in the Americas. For those unable to attend the event will be broadcasted by zoom and social media. Simultaneous translations will be available throughout the event.

With top experts from the region and the U.S., panelist will be debating around the post covid challenges for maritime and air cargo. Likewise, experts will deal with the logistics challenges deriving from E-Commerce, and the opportunities for US and Latin American companies with Nearshoring as an option to reconfigure Global Value Chains. Increasingly WTCs around the world are focusing on logistics and with this event WTCA wants to highlight importance of logistic hubs such as that of WTC Guadalajara. Speakers form the Interamerican Development Bank, Amazon, Houston Cargo Terminal, Peruvian port experts and those of logistic companies from Mexico and Brazil, will highlight and discuss the most relevant issues facing logistic operations.

Besides the logistics debate, WTCs of Latin America will be showcasing their developments and business models and introducing new topics around FTAs and financing of WTC projects. They will also look into how to be more efficient in a virtual environment and learn about B companies with the experience of WTC Montevideo.
