​​World Trade Week NYC Kick-Off Event and Keynote

World Trade Week NYC is an active network of more than 70 organizations in the New York metro region working together to underscore the importance of international trade, logistics and port operations to the region’s economy and to use their collective expertise to help the region’s businesses grow through international trade. World Trade Week NYC is hosted by the New York District Export Council.

The Co-Chairs for the 2022 New York World Trade Week:

• Sam Ruda, Director of The Port Department, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

The World Trade Week NYC Kick-Off Event, Keynote Address and Global Supply Chain Panel is scheduled for May 5, 2022 at 2 PM EDT.

The keynote speaker this year will be Bethan Rooney, Port Deputy Director for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.The topic of her presentation will be "Port Infrastructure to Support World Trade and Global Supply Chains."

The WTCA will also be presenting the annual International Achievement Award to a company in the New York region that has had extraordinary success in international markets.
