We are pleased to announce that World Trade Center Mumbai has organized a Handloom Festival from 17 October to 14 November 2020. This is an excellent platform for Weavers, Artisans and Designers from India and overseas to showcase, market and sell their products such as fabric material, shawls, stoles, dress material, mats, rugs, carpets, home furnishing, sarees and other accessories made from handlooms, linens, silks, jute and other natural fibers.

We have requested support of various trade promotion organisations, World Trade Centers, consulates and embassies of various countries to invite potential buyers and exhibitors for this virtual exhibition. Furthermore, matchmaking B2B and B2C meetings, export-oriented virtual training programmes and workshops with buyers, experts, trendsetters and designers will also be organized parallelly
This virtual handloom festival is being held for a month with a view to provide the exhibitors and buyers sufficient time to understand and analyze the emerging opportunities and challenges in the backdrop of the crises. This exhibition will also help them understand fashion and trends in textile and handlooms from various countries, thus serving as a melting pot for various cultures.

International Exhibitors invited through the WTC network, will be provided with complimentary virtual stalls to exhibit and sell their products. This is an excellent opportunity for buyers to build a solid network and gather high quality leads, increase brand visibility, learn and upskill through webinars, workshops and training programmes etc.

Buyers invited through the WTC network can participate in the exhibition on a complimentary basis (prior registration is mandatory). These buyers will benefit by participating in this virtual exhibition, as they will get the opportunity of doing direct business with the seller, overcoming geographical barriers, saving time, effort and money.
