2026 Geopolitical Update

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), in collaboration with The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) and the World Trade Center Netherlands Alliance, will present the 2026 Geopolitical Update — a timely virtual briefing exploring the geopolitical, economic, and trade dynamics shaping global business in the year ahead.

Building on the success of the 2025 program and accompanying launch of the Geopolitical Annual Trade Risk Index (GATRI), this year’s update will once again bring together international experts and business leaders to examine emerging geopolitical risks, shifting trade relationships, supply chain resilience, regional security developments, and the growing impact of policy and global uncertainty on investment and cross-border commerce.

Designed for the global World Trade Center network and broader international business community, the annual update aims to provide practical insights and data-driven perspectives to help organizations navigate an increasingly complex international environment.
